Ryan is an IP lawyer whose practice includes IP litigation and the drafting and prosecution of trademark applications.
Ryan completed his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University before earning his Juris Doctor at the University of New Brunswick. During law school, he competed in the Gale Cup Moot and was awarded the Harrison Shield for placing first in the Hon. William Henry Harrison Moot.
Ryan has been with Riches, McKenzie & Herbert LLP since being called to the bar in June 2025. Before joining the firm, he articled at a prominent national IP firm where he was exposed to many aspects of IP litigation and trademark prosecution.
