Dale E. Schlosser is an IP lawyer and registered patent and trademark agent whose practice includes intellectual property matters including “First Chair” litigation, licensing, and advocacy before the Trademarks Opposition Board. Dale is a certified specialist in Intellectual Property Law (Patent, Trademark & Copyright) by the Law Society of Ontario. Dale also handles disputes with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
Dale has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal and before the Canadian Trademarks Opposition Board.
Dale completed his law degree from York University (Osgoode Hall Law School) and was called to the bar in 1992. Before law school, Dale completed a B.Sc. in Chemistry with First Class Honours from the University of New Brunswick. Before joining Riches, McKenzie & Herbert LLP, Dale was a partner and chair of the intellectual property group at a national law firm. Dale was also counsel at a prominent intellectual property litigation boutique in Toronto.
